Utah Harp Festival Session 16 - Choral Hall

Day of Instructions:

• Please arrive for your session 15 minutes early (if the previous session is still in progress, please wait in the hall)
• • If you choose to bring your own instrument, please arrive earlier and tune your instrument in the hallway.  You are responsible for the tuning of your own harp.
  • Bring your instrument in and line it up appropriately with the other instruments.  The Room Monitor will help differentiate your harp from those provided for general participants.
• All harpists need to check in with the Room Monitor.  The Room Monitor will take your music and let you know the performance order for that session.
• Bring Music (original, if possible).  Please mark measure numbers at least at the beginning of each line. This helps Judges provide specific feedback.
• All harpists are welcome to warm up on their selected harp.  If you do not bring your own harp, please only play the provided harps.
• Please stay for the entire session and refrain from entering or exiting the room while harpists are performing.
• Parents are welcome to record their own child.  All posed photos must be taken AFTER the conclusion of the session.
• After the session, please pick up your music and certificate from the Room Monitor.
