Advanced Harpist Level (Level 12+)

  • Harpist must have participated in Level 12 prior to entering “Advanced Harpist”

  • Harpist and teacher may choose any two pieces of advanced repertoire that continues to push the student’s skills and performance maturity.  

  • This level may be repeated and still count as “progress” for recognition.

  • Variations on a theme of Mozart - Glinka

  • Colorado Trail - Grandjany

  • Fantasie on a theme of Haydn - Grandjany

  • Impromptu Caprice - Pierne

  • Prelude in C - Prokofieff

  • Sarabande e Toccata - Rota

  • Fantasie - Saint-Saens

  • Vers la Source dans le bois - Tournier

  • Etude de Concert - Au Matin - Tournier

              Competition Level

              Competition Repertoire

              • For any student participating in any national or international competition

              • Judging will focus specifically on providing feedback for competition preparation

              • Level may be repeated and considered as a progressing level for recognition purposes

              • Both pieces performed must be for a competition for which the student is registered (or will register shortly)
